ShareWorld's Longest Game - Looking for officials

From Feb. 5 – 16, 2026, 40 caring and courageous hockey players will strap on their skates to challenge the Guinness World Record by playing in the 8th edition of the World’s Longest Hockey Game at s Saiker’s Acres -- all while making a difference for cancer patients right here in Alberta.

Since 2003, the World’s Longest Games have raised over $8.1 million for leading-edge equipment and research at the Cross Cancer Institute and this year is sure to be the best (and longest!) year yet. We are once again looking for referees to help during the game.
Without hundreds of dedicated volunteers like yourself, this game would not be possible. The game is now 11 days long and there are over 400 volunteer slots to fill for reffing. If you are interested in helping out, please complete this volunteer form:
